Very Good

The roof terrace was fantastic. Air-conditioning was magnificent. Space was spotless, and the facilities were great. Overall communication ,assistance, and help from Cristina was fantastic throughout.

There were lots of stairs, ok for us, but may cause issues for some. The fitted sheet was too small for the 2nd bed.

Host and location was great

Just small, we are spoilt in New Zealand, so everywhere we stayed in Spain was small, especially the showers!

Barcelona was great. Simple apartment but clean. Recommend

Location was great. Apartment was clean. Cristina our contact was very helpful and communication was great

Stairs - I knew about them when I booked so was not a problem but thought this should be clear to anyone booking. Shower-drain was blocked so water didn’t drain out quickly. Cristina advised and she answered that she will clear it. No big deal but should be kept clear at all times

Good

Lovely, clean apartment with ideal space for 2 friends travelling together. Location great for accessing the city. Being in gothic quarter had great atmosphere. Host very friendly and helpful.

Outside/approach was not what we expected. Accessed via a random door on the street in a slightly dark street, stairwell was a bit dark and small. Only 2 apartments? Very noisy during night as in the heart of the gothic area. Overall, apartment, its handy location and great atmosphere made up for these things though.

Nice stay in Barcelona

Great location in the old secion. Central and accessibleto all. Washer/dryer, plenty of sleeping room in a relatively small space. Well-apportioned. Cristina spent time orienting.. Suggestion: Arrive at Puertecillo restaurant before it opens at 8 pm for a total experience.

The stairs are a challenge. Luckily for this 75-year old, we were on the first floor (by the European count). The apt above us had a balcony, however.

Nice space and location - everything else meh…

Great location. Close to shops, food, sights, metro line.

It took 64 steps to get up to the unit - no lift. We would never had chosen this place had we known that. It was also very noisy. Shower had low pressure and no way to adjust the shower head or avoid getting water in your face the whole time. The cleaners left a massive clump of towels and sheets in the dryer and it ran for hours. I had to physically separate the towels from the sheets so they could dry properly. You shouldn’t have to do that if they charge a $30 cleaning fee.

Great location, warm welcome

Great location, short walking distance to many attractions or bus/metro stops. Small kitchen, but it got everything that we needed for this short stay, since we only eat breakfasts there. Bathroom was small, but super clean. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Air conditioning was working - which is great since the apartment was getting very warm during the day. The terrace was a great addition, even though we didn’t spend a lot of time there, because it was hot outside. But it was great space for the evening. Extremely hospitable welcome - Christina met us in the apartment, showed us everything and even got us some recommendations for food and restaurants. It was quite quiet, however you were able to hear the tenants below if they were very loud - still, it didn’t bother us that much since it’s quite normal thing to expect in apartment buildings. We were not able to hear anything from the streets.

Very narrow and long stairs. We had the top apartment with the terrace and sometimes, when someone else was using the stairs as well, it was hard to get there. Not an issue, but worth mentioning. The air conditioning worked great, but it was located a little below main bed (which was a little bit higher, with the stairs) so cold air didn’t get there and it was warm in the night, whereas on the other bed it was cold - air conditioning was set to blow straight on it. The water pressure was fine, but the water was slowly draining from the shower - again, not an issue, but worth mentioning if more people are checked in and you need to plan showers accordingly.

Third floor - NO elevator!

The apartment was in a fantastic location in el Born. It was easy to get everywhere and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. El Born is a great area to see and buy works by local artists and craftsmen. The apartment is IKEA furnished with mattresses that could be a bit more comfortable.

Three flights up a narrow stairway! A long way to go with a suitcase or after a long day of walking.
